Join Me on the Westcott Top Pro Tour

Westcott just announced their Top Pro Tour! This is your chance to join me and my fellow Westcott Top Pro Photographers as we teach our favorite lighting setup and various digital photography workflows around the country. My tour stop will be in Michigan on October 7th and while that's still a couple of months off, I didn't want you to miss the other cities that may be closer to you. The tour officially kicks off on September 12th and runs through November 17th.

This is your chance to see, touch and learn various lighting setups from some of the nation's best photographers.

You can find out more details here.

Introducing the Photoshop CS5 “Knowledge Panel”

Photoshop CS5 Quietly Delivers the Knowledge Panel

That's right! If you have Photoshop CS5, you have a NEW Panel under Window->Extensions Called "Knowledge". This new panel pulls in industry experts to give you help and step-by-step instructions on completing various tasks in Photoshop. Best of all it's FREE and if you've been connected to the internet and have Photoshop CS5 open it's already there! Here are a few screen shots:

Feeling the Love in Mumbai India

As I head back to the US from an eleven day trip in Asia, I gotta say how refreshing it is to present to audiences that are appreciative and excited about what you're showing. Adobe Creative Suite 5 is a joy to present, but I really felt the love in Asia. It's very rare for any presenter to present to over 2,000 people and not receive a single complaint! However, that's exactly what happened last week. After each presentation people came up to simply say "thank you!" Sure there were questions asked about the features and to get clarification on certain things that were shown, but not a single person had anything bad to say.

What a great week!

Thanks Mumbai India and Singapore!

This Creative Suite launch will be one of the most highly broadcasted events in Adobe's history because never has there been a time like the present where video content will be made so freely available. Photoshop World 2010 Orlando Wrap Up

This year's Photoshop World East was a BLAST! I've been to Photoshop World more time than I can count. However, this particular conference seemed much more "upbeat". I didn't run into a single "cranky" person the whole time. Everyone was all smiles and having a great time. As an instructor, I feed off the energy of my audience. So when my audience is having a good time and learning, it gets me excited and drives me to show more and teach more. So I not only had a great crowd in each of my sessions, they were really into what I had to say and show. That makes all the difference in the world!

Here are some highlights and I've included the Keynote video too! Enjoy 🙂
