My Live Streaming Studio Setup – 2021

Terry White Live Streaming Setup

As we look to the end of the pandemic I’m happy with the prospect of traveling again for business and pleasure. However, live streaming will still be a big part of my day job. I live stream multiple times per week as part of my job at Adobe. I stream live Adobe tutorials regularly to YouTube, Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, and Behance as well. Since this is what I do for a living I’m always looking to improve my production values.

Tiny Terry

I have been tweaking my dedicated live streaming studio since 2016. Being a photographer I’ve set up a few photography studios and no matter how you equip your studio you can always find more gear that you want and ways to improve it. I’ve been building out this live streaming studio since May 2016. I have everything I “need” to do my streams, but I’m always looking out for ways to improve upon what I have or make it easier to do my streams.

As with a photography studio, your streaming setup can be very basic or very elaborate

What I’m Teaching At Photoshop World 2016

Photoshop World Instructors

It’s almost time for one my favorite Adobe conferences of the year! Yep, Photoshop World is just around the corner and as usual I’ve got more than a few classes. For those of you who have never been to Photoshop World, you should definitely check it out at least once in your life. You are pretty much guaranteed to walk away knowing a lot more about Photoshop and the rest of the Adobe Creative Cloud products and services. This year’s conference takes place July 19-21 in Las Vegas NV. As a matter of fact, this is the last week to save $100 (register before June 10th here).

This year I’ll be teaching:

Photoshop World 2015: It’s a wrap!

wpid14835-IMG_4850-Edit_sm.jpg

I just wanted to take a moment to thank all of you who attended my classes, sat in on my Adobe booth demos, and came up to me and said hello. I was especially happy to see the number educators that came up to me to thank me for my videos and to tell me that they use them in their classrooms. Wow! What an honor. Photoshop World is definitely my favorite show to work.

There’s so much inspiration and creativity happening and Photoshop World and I always leave with a list of things that I want to come home and try. I was also honored to see my work on display on the Photoshop 25th Anniversary display in the Adobe Booth. The work on display here was awe inspiring.

Not only was my work on display in the Adobe booth, but I happened to be flipping through the Photoshop World show guide and caught the F.J. Westcott Lighting add featuring my work with their Rapid Box 26″ Octa.

30 Days Later – 30 NEW Adobe Creative Cloud Tutorials

creative_cloud_2014

One New Years Resolution completed. At the beginning of the year I promised to deliver a new Adobe Creative Cloud Tutorial each day during the month of January starting on January 2nd. I’m happy to say that my 30 Days of Creative Cloud Tutorials are done and have been very well received! At last count the video have had over 80,000 views and climbing. I also received lots of direct feedback on Twitter and my Facebook page. Most of the tutorials focused on the questions I get every day over and over again. I also took the liberty of working in mobile workflows wherever I could. Of course I’ll continue to do more throughout the year and cover new features as they are added to Creative Cloud. In the mean time, check out what you’ve missed here in this playlist featuring all 30 videos:

My First Session at HOW Design Live Rocked!

wpid13367-DSC_5396_sm.jpg

There’s nothing like showing up to do a session at a conference and seeing 400+ empty chairs. Your first thought is “Oh my God, I hope people attend this thing!” Well I must say that not only did have close to 400 people in my session yesterday at HOW Design Live, but it was the right 400 people. Like most presenters I draw my energy from the crowd. The better the crowd responds the more it will help me to do a better presentation. I had an hour to show: “Create Cutting Edge Websites. No Code. No Kidding”. Of course this session was all about Adobe Muse CC.

Judging by the number of mentions on Twitter, the crowd LOVED IT!

HOWLive-twitter

Thanks again to all who attended and I’ll see you again today same time for “Adobe Creative Cloud Time Saving Tips and Tricks.” If you didn’t get a chance to attend my session here at HOW Design Live 2014 in Boston, you can check out my getting started video on Adobe Muse CC here:

My 3 New Online Classes on KelbyOne are Here!

terrywhite_kelbyone

Hey everyone, I just wanted to give you a heads up about my three NEW Online Classes on KelbyOne. I visited KelbyOne studios a couple months back and recorded three in-depth online classes and now all three have been released.

Adobe Muse CC for Photographers

You probably know that you need a website, but you’re not really into writing code. That’s why Adobe Muse CC was created. In this class Terry White shows you how to get started and create a complete website from scratch without having to write a single line of code. You can have your own website and more importantly update it as often as you need.

Adobe Premiere Pro CC for Photographers

You would be hard-pressed to buy a camera that doesn’t shoot video today! However, as a photographer you probably never got into video editing. Now with Adobe Premiere Pro CC it couldn’t be easier to tell your story with photos and videos. The problem has been that all the other Premiere Pro classes out there are geared towards video people. In this class Terry White shows you how to go from start to finish with your videos, photos, and music without all the video jargon. Let a photographer show you how to use Premiere Pro CC.

Intro to Adobe InDesign CC

InDesign CC lets you bring your photos, text, and graphics together in a seamless integrated workflow. In this class Terry White shows you how to get started from scratch even if you’ve never launched InDesign before. After this class you’ll be able to lay out just about any document that you want to create. Brochures, newsletters, magazines, business cards, flyers, and books are just a click away.

I’m really happy with the way these classes turned out and I hope you like them too!
