Terry White Live: The Lightroom and Photoshop CC Show Ep 14, 15 & 16

Terry White Live: The Lightroom and Photoshop CC Show

Hey everyone! Happy Monday. Here are the latest episodes from my NEW show on Twitch.tv – Terry White Live: The Lightroom and Photoshop CC Show. In Episode 14 I was live answering YOUR questions about Photoshop and Lightroom with an FAQ. In Episode 15 I did a Throwback Tuesday where I went through many of the new features added to Photoshop CC since 2013 (the release after CS6). It was a big hit and I’m thinking of doing it regularly for other CC products. We often overlook or forget about features that we don’t use everyday. In Episode 16 I did what many of you have been asking for…

You’ve seen the sneaks and you’ve heard the rumors about a NEW professional level retouching App for your iPad or iPhone, well the wait is over. Adobe Photoshop Fix is here! Rather than tell you about it I’d rather show it to you in action:

Photoshop Fix is exactly the kind of App that I’ve been hoping for and it was a pleasure working with the team and providing feedback during the development.

How To Shoot Tethered to an iPad via Lightroom Mobile

lighroom

In this episode of Adobe Creative Cloud TV I answer a Facebook Fan request on how to shoot tethered to an iPad? Unfortunately there still isn’t a way to just plug in your camera to your iPad and have the images show up as you shoot with your DSLR and quite frankly even if you could it would have limited application due to the storage constraints on the iPad itself. So instead I’ve come up with a way to use Lightroom CC and Lightroom Mobile to accomplish the same thing not only to an iPad, but to an iPhone, Android phone, Android tablet or even a web browser. With the technique above you can shoot tethered to Lightroom and have your shots automatically sync to Lightroom Mobile via Creative Sync and those shots will be on all of your devices as well as the web simultaneously.

Do you have my App?

What I’m Teaching Next Week At Photoshop World

It’s that time once again! Next week I’m headed to my favorite conference (Photoshop World) to teach and I’m excited about my new classes! I’ll be teaching the regular favorites on Lightroom and Adobe Muse CC and my popular Adobe Premiere Pro CC for Photographers class. However, this year I’m adding a 2nd Lightroom Class as well as a NEW class on “Using Type to Make Your Designs Pop”. I’ll also be at the Adobe Booth doing sessions on “Adding Effects to Images”, “New Tools for Design” and I’m doing a session on the show floor in the Kelby Theater on “Creating a Successful Stock Photography Business”

You should come to my next class

I’m looking forward to seeing you all there!

The 2015 Release of Adobe Creative Cloud is Here!

Adobe_Creative_Cloud

All new versions of your favorite Adobe creative applications are here! As you might expect it has been a busy few months for me not only getting up to speed on all that’s new for Design and Photography (the areas I focus on), but also creating content so that you can get up to speed quickly.

Before we get to the content let’s talk about installation

Last year when we released the 2014 Release of Creative Cloud there was a lot of confusion because the installer installed the new CC 2014 apps along side your existing CC apps. People didn’t know if they needed to keep the older apps installed or not. This time around the powers that be have decided that it’s best to “uninstall” your older CC applications by default. Of course you can choose NOT to do this if you want to hang on to your older applications. My colleague Jeff Tranberry has done a great job outlining what’s going here.

What’s NEW in the 2015 Release of Adobe Creative Cloud?

I just released 25 NEW videos outlining the individual top features of Photoshop CC, InDesign CC, Muse CC, Lightroom CC and the updated Mobile Apps. I put them all in a single playlist to make it easy on ya:

I’m off to bed now. Enjoy!
