Adobe Photoshop World – Vegas Keynote Video

pswkeynote

As promised I have posted the Adobe Keynote Video from Photoshop World Las Vegas. The keynote features lots of new technology introductions from both NAPP and Adobe. It’s well worth a watch. The keynote opens with some great football themed content from Scott Kelby and the Photoshop Guys and then they hand it over to Adobe’s SVP Johnny L who not only covers the progress that we’ve made with Photoshop CS4, but all the things that have come out since CS4 was introduced and a glimpse at some technologies in the works. Russell Preston Brown aka "Dr. Brown" helps out with the demos and shows how to use some of the cool features of Photoshop CS4 and Bridge CS4.

I’m headed to Photoshop World this week!

Photoshop World is one of the few shows I look forward to working each year because I have such a good time reconnecting with friends and customers. It’s really a treat being around a couple thousand users of your company’s products and the level of learning at this conference is second to none.

Although I knew that you could subscribe to your favorite video podcast right on your TiVo by inputing the RSS feed for the show, I didn’t realize that TiVo actually features shows. Yesterday, Rod Harlan pointed out to me that my Adobe Creative Suite Video Podcast is now featured on TiVo. Not sure how long it’s been there, but I was very pleased to see it right at the top of the list of technology shows.

Join me at Adobe MAX!

signature_max09_speaker

Once again I’m honored to be a Featured Speaker at this year’s Adobe MAX conference! I had so much fun and learned a lot at last year’s conference in San Francisco. This year the conference will be held in LA and I’m counting the days. Adobe MAX brings together some of the brightest minds in the industry and covers everything from developer workflows, to creative pro techniques to a look at where Adobe is headed.

I’m joined this year by my esteemed colleague Russell Preston Brown, Adobe’s Sr. Creative Director and he will be doing a special 3 Day Hands On Workshop!

I’m looking forward to see you there. If you haven’t registered yet, you can do so here.

Photoshop Educator?

If you’re a Photoshop Educator then you can register to download a FREE Instructor’s Kit. My buddy Scott Kelby has partnered up with Peachpit Press/New Riders and Pearson Education to release his Photoshop CS4 Book For Digital Photographers as not only a text book, but also additional instructors kit DVD with videos and additional files to show your class. There’s a PDF, test questions and photos to help you teach photoshop. The only catch is that you have to be an educator to get this free resource. So if you work as an educator you should head over and check it out. If you want to check out Scott’s original announcement including a short video explaining the program, go here.
