Adobe Lightroom 4 is Now Part of Your Creative Cloud Membership

Since the launch of Adobe Creative Cloud, my readers have been asking “When will Lightroom 4 be available to Creative Cloud Members?” The answer to that question is TODAY! That’s right, if you are a current Creative Cloud Member or you sign up from today forward, you can now also get Lightroom 4 in addition to all the other services.

Creative Cloud will go for $49.99/month (with a 1 year commitment), but remember from now though August 2012 (time is running out) you can get your first year for only $29.99 if you’re an existing Creative Suite customer. This membership gets you access to all the Apps of Creative Suite Master Collection, Adobe Muse, Adobe Edge, Business Catalyst web hosting and now Lightroom 4.

Check it out here.

It won’t stop there! Creative Cloud members will continue to get additional benefits all year long.

  1. Thanks for the news, Terry!

We’ve been Adobe software professional users since 1987 with the introductions of Adobe Illustrator in that year. And we’ve been Creative Suite customers in more recent years.

We love the new Creative Cloud system! The new CS6 apps have great new features; they run well in Lion; updates are painless; and now we have Lightroom for no extra charge.

It seems to me that Adobe has found a sweet spot with CC which will hopefully help staunch a chunk of the pirating, like Apple did with iTunes.

  2. I choose to buy Photoshop CS6 largely because Lightroom was not included in the cloud, and I rely on both. It’s hard to make an informed decision between the cloud and buying when the rules keep changing.

  3. Aw man. I just bought lightroom 4 (full) literally two days ago. I’ve had LR4 on my pc but just got a mac and had to buy the mac version. Is there any way I can pursuade Adobe to let me un-buy (refund) for LR that I just bought. I subscribe to CS6 and had no idea that LR would be a part of that or else I would have waited.
