Terry,
This is off topic. I have a client who wants me to make a movie from (I use adobe premiere pro CS3.
This movie will mostly 100 photos that I will scan into my PC.
Looking through my help guide, I am not able to find what size (dimensions) to make these jpeg files for PP? or what DPI to scan?
Some photos are so small I will be scanning up to 3 or 4 for one scan…
Can you direct me to a resource where I can get this info?
Thank you in advance. I understand you may not have time or know yourself.

Ken, the rule of thumb is that you either make the photos the same size as your final video frame at 72ppi or you can go larger if you plan on zooming in and out of the photo (aka Ken Burns effect) in Premiere. So then the size would be whatever size you want to zoom up to.
Terry, thanks for the great help…

Thanks for the shout out Terry! So that’s why jetpacks haven’t come out yet! Let’s change it to time machine transporters…wait, scratch that I would definitely flup the whole time space continuum! Back to the drawing board…
Gabe,
A very entertaining read! What are you doing up there on the High Line?
Gabriel,
Great to see you! We met at Zack Arias’ OneLight Workshop in ATL last summer. I hope you have a great year. Looks like you’re off to a grand start. See ya ’round the block!
