I hope that you all had a great Thanksgiving weekend and that you got a chance to spend time with family and friends. I’m in my home office this week and that means that I’ve got some live streams scheduled:
I’ve had an amazing couple of weeks! As many of you know, two weeks ago was Adobe MAX in LA. Last week was PhotoPlus Expo in NYC. From coast to coast I had a very busy presentation schedule with live in person audiences. I got to kick off Adobe MAX to an audience of close to 15,000 people. See my Photoshop presentation here. Last week I was doing sessions at PhotoPlus Expo in the Adobe Theater as well as the conference track. I also got to speak in the Nikon Theater. See that presentation here.
Now with the major shows out of the way for a while, I’m back to live streaming. Here’s my schedule for this week:
I’m headed out to Adobe in San Francisco to be a part of Adobe Live – Graphic Design this week. I’ll be hosting the 9am – 11am and 1pm – 3pm Pacific Time slots this week. You can watch at behance.net/live. One of the things I’ll be doing before the main streams that start on Tuesday, is a “Learning” stream that starts on Monday. My first one will be today at 9AM Pacific Time. I’ll be covering How to Get Started with Adobe InDesign CC. If you’ve ever wanted to learn InDesign, this hour long live crash course will be a great place for you to start!
Join me live as I host the following live streams:
I’ve been doing a series called “Back to the Basics.” These videos have been done in the form of live streams on YouTube (for Photoshop) and Facebook (for InDesign). While I don’t have a schedule that is locked in stone, I figured it would be best to post here more regularly about the streams I’m planning to do that week. I’ll do my best to start posting my schedule here on Mondays. Let’s see how it goes. In the meantime, you can catch the replays of the ones I’ve done thus far here:
That’s right folks! The June 2016 Update to Adobe Creative Cloud is here and I’m going to be going over many of the updates including the ones to Photoshop CC 2015.5 and more, LIVE on my Twitch stream TODAY! Join me live at 10AM – 12 Noon EDT on twitch.tv/adobe for a first look. In case you can’t make it to the LIVE show, I’ll have more on my YouTube channel later today and if you just can’t wait, check out Victoria Pavlov’s video on the NEW Face Aware Liquify feature (one of my favorite new features):
All new versions of your favorite Adobe creative applications are here! As you might expect it has been a busy few months for me not only getting up to speed on all that’s new for Design and Photography (the areas I focus on), but also creating content so that you can get up to speed quickly.
Before we get to the content let’s talk about installation
Last year when we released the 2014 Release of Creative Cloud there was a lot of confusion because the installer installed the new CC 2014 apps along side your existing CC apps. People didn’t know if they needed to keep the older apps installed or not. This time around the powers that be have decided that it’s best to “uninstall” your older CC applications by default. Of course you can choose NOT to do this if you want to hang on to your older applications. My colleague Jeff Tranberry has done a great job outlining what’s going here.
What’s NEW in the 2015 Release of Adobe Creative Cloud?
I just released 25 NEW videos outlining the individual top features of Photoshop CC, InDesign CC, Muse CC, Lightroom CC and the updated Mobile Apps. I put them all in a single playlist to make it easy on ya:
