  1. Is Adobe risking a backlash from the purchasers of software prior to the birth of the Cloud. They are on the outside looking in at these new features. Plus the features promised for them still aren’t available as an update.

    1. Just about everything you do in business is a risk and no matter what you do, you’re not going to make everyone happy. There is nothing new here. Adobe stated from day one that the benefit of Creative Cloud is that you get regular feature updates. From day one Adobe has said to purchasers of perpetual licenses (boxed software) that you don’t get feature updates until the next major paid update is available.
