Terry,
the audio is very low.
oops. Sorry Terry. The fault was on my end. My mistake.
Hi Terry,
Good tutorial, though had to pump up the volume big time 🙂
One question.
I’m playing with catalyst a bit and can’t seem to find a way to create a ”mailto action” on a email address.
Where can you ad this action?
Another question Terry – but first – many thanks for doing this tutorial, it was very helpful.
I decided to update our university’s web based map (a simple static graphic) having seen your tutorial. However I experienced import problems right from the start which seem to be down to the complexity of my AI graphic.
Figuring my drawing was just too darn complex I simplified it, and simplified it again….And again! But Catalyst still warns me about the complexity when I try to import it – but worse, when I try to scale the map (as per your tutorial) Catalyst just hangs for a real long time and when it eventually processes the resultant preview is juddery and not as smooth as your example.
Q: When is a complex AI file just too complex for Catalyst?
Thanks,
beaty
I have seen your video.Great tutorial. I have been looking for something to make a simple map application for work as many of the pre bought template ones don’t look great and too over blown.Flash Catalyst supports both vector and bitmap graphics.Bitmaps are better suited for photography.
