Last week we celebrated Adobe Photoshop's 20th Anniversary! It was a blast and of course it was a star studded event with guests from all over the globe and of course a visit by the original creators of Photoshop, the Knoll brothers as well as many of the Photoshop engineers.

I was honored with a chance to present during this event. Each presenter presented one or two major new features of each version of Photoshop since version 3. I got Photoshop 5.5 (remember that version?) and showed off the Extract Filter. I also snuck in a little on the Background Eraser and a Save for Web tip.

Did you miss the party?
No worries because the folks over at NAPP have also posted the video from the party. You can check it out here (warning: the audio from the live band has issues so you may want to mute that portion, otherwise the video is fine):

Photoshop 1.0 on the iPhone
Russell Brown (Happy Birthday Russell!) spearheaded getting a New App created which debuted at the Photoshop 20th Anniversary Party. It's actually Photoshop 1.07 on the iPhone! Wow! Granted they only had time to get Levels Adjustments in the App by the day of the party, but it's certainly fun nonetheless. Also unfortunately this App hasn't been released to the public yet on the App Store. However, stay tuned to bestappsite.com and if/when the App is released for general consumption, I'll break the news there.
