It appears that the folks over at GearLive.com have snagged a release of the upcoming iPhone 1.1.3 firmware and have put together this video walkthrough of the new features. So you better watch it before the Apple Legal folks make them yank it down.

Love the blog, as far as the Apple iPhone update 1.1.3. What I would love to know why the hold up? Don’t get me wrong I love my phone but I am tired of having this phone that is capable of so much doing baby steps to get it’s full potential. I bought this phone being a loyal Apple customer and kind of feel like I have been screwed in my loyalty. Most iPhone users lost so much, 3G access, tethering option, MMS, Video, GPS, and the list just gets larger and larger. What I would really love to know is why Apple didn’t give us all this to begin with and if they are giving us this when and what is the hold up? I can’t help but feel like do to my loyalty with Apple products I was screwed on this iPhone deal. Apple iPhone started the revolution in the cell phone business with the state of the art Apple iPhone and I can’t help but feel the war is being handed to the competition because all the new phones do more than my Apple iPhone. All I have is a promise of a better future and I think it is time Apple delivers and delivers with interest.
So if you ever get to talk to Apple ask them when is the future coming for us iPhone owners? Sorry needed to vent.
Hi Glyn
Thanks and Happy New Year to you as well!
Virgil,
I hear ya! You saw my list of “50 ways to make the iPhone better”. I was hoping for at least 5 of those features to be released as updates each month. We’ll see what next week’s Macworld Expo brings.
