I had a blast at Photoshop World ’08 Vegas and I want to take this opportunity to thank those of you who stopped by and said hello. As usual Adobe’s SVP of the Creative Business Unit – Johnny L used the Adobe Keynote Address to show off some never before seen technologies that are coming in CS4 and beyond. Be sure to check out my exclusive video of the keynote here on my Creative Suite Podcast.
I also want to congratulate my friend John Nack on his induction into the Photoshop Hall of Fame!
See more photos from this year’s event here.
I also want to thank those of you who attended my theater session in the Adobe booth, my InDesign classes on the conference track and my lighting and shooting tethered into Lightroom session at the Westcott booth. I really appreciate the support!
That’s me showing off the NEW bulbs for the Westcott Spiderlite TD5 system and how to shoot tethered into Adobe Photoshop Lightroom 2. Photo by Sarah K.

hey terry – saw you at the tech expo but didn’t get the chance to introduce myself because you were busy with the demo for westcott. hope to meet you in the next photoshop world!
btw, i’m excited for the CS4! Glad you put the video out. i didnt know if it was okay for us to share what we saw on the keynote. 🙂
Not bad for an iPhone shot huh ?
; )
Good Job Chief.
By the way, how do I get one of those little “hottie” assistants???
I know, I know ______…….
Big C,
Curious what others think. I am huge photoshop fan but I didnt think the new features demo’d were that impressive.
I am happy with CS3 (miles to go in learning curve) and love LR2 but it appeared from what I saw more of a product cycle change for marketing purposes than technology improvements.
Disagree?
JBF,
What you saw were just a couple of new features and by no means the complete feature set of CS4. You should probably reserve judgement until you see it all.
I was lucky enough to attend PSW in Las Vegas and I was hugely impressed with your InDesign classes. We are a marketing destination company and we create several travel publications throughout the year, currently using Quark to produce them. There is talk of switching to InDesign and I thought YOU would definitely be the man to lead us over the big scary learning curve and show us an easy and still highly productive way to make the switch.
I know that if my fellow employees heard you talk, they would LOVE InDesign too! I don’t suppose you do small training seminars? Please let me know. I hope to hear from you soon! Thank you so much for all you do!
Highest Regards,

Shannon,
Thanks! Unfortunately I don’t get a chance to do private training. I wish you well with your transition to ID.
Hi Terry! Thanks so much for your speedy reply, I truly appreciate it and am very sad we can’t hire you to come here. I don’t suppose you could suggest anyone that may have been trained by you, that has anywhere near your enthusiasm for InDesign and that also may live in or near Arizona?
