WordPress for iPhone Coming Soon!

One of the things that will make the iPhone even more useful for me is being able to update this blog of mine while on the go. Often there are times that I’m out and about and would love to blog about something right there and then. However, it’s not always convenient to whip out my digital camera and laptop. Having a WordPress compatible app on my iPhone will make all the difference in the world!

It’s coming soon!

  1. Hey Terry, I came across your website while looking for more info about Time Capsule. I like the muted colors; very easy on the eyes. And, yup, it is a Sadish theme. I really like his stuff. The first two versions of my site were based on his themes. I am now trying to add tweak the current there into a bit more serene state. Unfortunately, I am starting with zero knowledge on web design. /shrug.

The WordPress app for iPhone sounds cool. I was wondering when/if something like that was going to come out.

I am currently using the widget which lets me do some of this already, but I am interested in what the WordPress guys will do in the iPhone app.

  2. Great iPhone updates, Mr. White. I have one question: how do you get one of the freakin’ phones? Has Apple contrived a shortage for marketing purposes? No local ATT store has them and they don’t know when they will. Apple stores across the country have none. What’s up?
    Thanks.

  3. Martin, I picked up a 3G iPhone at the ATT store in Philadelphia on the first day of sale. They had plenty of opening stock. I didn’t get in to line until 11 Am, was out of the store by 2 PM, they still had phones in stock. Somebody got in line after 2PM, waited four hours but still got a phone. A local Apple Store on the opening day had a tremendous line at 8 PM. The second, day, at another Apple Store they were out of stock by 7PM.

And the site says it’s now in the Apple iPhone Application store.

  4. I installed it today and it’s basic, but it’s also free and better than nothing. I’d like the next version to be able to do hyperlinks and put the photos in line with the text instead of just sticking them at the end. Tomorrow’s blog post was created with it.
