    Truly enjoy your articles and podcasts re: InDesign CS5 and how to create an iPhone and iPad app. Thanks to you, I now have a working iPhone app …. but. How do I embed a video in InDesign that will play on the iPhone? I’m caught in the Flash ‘battle’ and can’t find a solution.

    Any help would be appreciated. If the answer is outlined in one of your books, then I’ll buy it. 🙂

    1. Currently there is no easy way to do that from InDesign to ePub as “video” isn’t officially part of the ePub specification (yet). Apple is going around it by doing their own thing. We create standards based ePubs that work across devices that support ePub.

      The only InDesign to iPad option that supports video (currently) is our Digital Publishing solution for Magazines.

      This will most likely get better this year once the ePub spec is revised.
