Belated Merry Christmas! I received the Columbus nGPS GPS and Remote Shutter Release for Christmas. Functions like the Nikon GP-1 with the following differences:

    1. Has an on/off switch
    2. Includes a remote shutter release cable which can be used with the GPS functioning
    3. Does NOT include a strap adapter like the GP1-CL1 (anyone know where to source one?)
    4. Includes cables for both the

With the Nikonians discount it is less than half the price of the GP-1. I’m very happy!

I got the Muvi Micro DV Camcorder. About the size of a USB drive, 2mp sensor, up to 8gig with micro SD card and has sound. No screen so you have to learn how to aim. If you click my name you can see the results I put together in iMovie. The company’s site is here: http://www.veho-uk.com/productdetail.aspx?id=87 And you can also see some review clips on youtube. It’s pretty cool for what it is and does.

    Thanks Terry,

I received a Mophie Juice Pack Air. Unfortunately it was non-functioning out of the box. I will check back in and let you know how well Mophie deals with replacements.

Fourth year in a row I got a digital photo frame. Four different frames from four different people. I have used one exactly once (for a fundraiser at my home). I sure don’t need four.

    Amazon wish list, people!

I got a Chumby. My cousin has had one for a while now and he got me one for Christmas. In the three days I have had it, I have become very fond of it already. I have personalized it so I can see the weather, get news RSS feeds, facebook updates, and much more without even leaving my bed. It also acts as an alarm clock. I am totally digging it!

  12. Rob says:

A Lensbaby and the Optic kit!

  13. RDS says:

    Hi Terry,

I got my first DSLR! Nikon D300s, with 18-105 VR lens, and SB-600 flash.

Now it’s time to learn this beast. Lots of settings there. Love it so far!
Any good books out there for this camera, etc.?

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!

    cheers,

    Rafal

Got a pair of Elinchrom RX600 heads… Well she said I could get them so that counts. Killer heads and love the skyport especiall when I can fire it on top of the PocketWizard Mini TT1.

Hope all had a great Christmas!

I got a Roku HD. The video quality is much better than I thought it would be. The interface isn’t as slick as the Apple TV, but it’s sufficient.

I mainly wanted to stream movies from my Netflix Instant Watch queue, but quickly discovered a few other channels I could watch.
I’ve been streaming content from twit.tv and also from Pandora.

I’m really enjoying my new toy!
