Arrakian,
80GB has been plenty so far and yes most of my collection is at 128kbps AAC. I love good sounding audio as much as the next guy, but Apple Lossless is bigger in file size than the benefits gained in audio quality to my ears. Sure an audiophile would easily disagree with me, but again they are my ears :-)

Terry!!!

Being a Tech-head, as well as a music lover, how can 80 Gig be enough? What are you ripping at- 128 kbps?!! You could use that extra 80 Gig to have your collection ripped in Apple Lossless. C'mon, you're on the cutting edge:)

My thoughts exactly...I was ready to buy the iPod touch, but-not enough storage for me (listen to a LOT of podcasts, plus have my music collection with me at all times), and because my company pays for my phone (Blackberry), can't get an iPhone. Apple, even if you have to make the Touch a little bit thicker, put a hard drive in it!
