Hi Terry,

Greetings from the NYC, Central Park walk. I had the best time ever. Got some terrific shots, and met some amazing people. What a great day! Our leader, Jeff Mitchell did an outstanding job. I hope your walk was a success to.
Regards, Ivan Boden

Terry,

Well said about "Photowalks are fun in general. Don’t wait until Scott’s annual walk to do one." I have hosted several photowalks and people are always commenting how much fun they had. I have made lots of new friends with photowalks and I usually follow them up with a pot luck dinner at my place and ask people to bring their photos along. I pop them into my iMac, load them into a iPhoto Event and then via my 35' HDMI cable we watch them on my HDTV while we eat and talk.

What the world needs are more photowalks!

Hi Terry,

I was so fortunate to lead the walk in Amersfoort - The Netherlands. As usual we didn't had the best weather but fortunate no heavy rain. I am surprised by the photo's I already get uploaded. Lots of nice pics.

It was great to lead a group of 24 persons (for the first time).

If you are interested we have a flickr group: Scott Kelby's World wide Photo Tour Amersfoort The Netherlands.

Cheers!

Terry,

I thought you might be interested in my MotionX GPS iPhone results. Elapsed time of 2:08, Ave. Speed = 1.4 mph, distance = 2.98 miles, max speed = 11.1 mph. Based on the differences in distance, I must have meandered a lot.

Hi Terry,

I have participated in the Photowalks last year and this year and there were great. A wonderful way to meet new photographers that share a common passion.

I know both you and Scott are big iPhone users. It would be nice to have an iPhone Photowalk day. Seeing some of the great photos taken by Chase Jarvis on his iPhone (from his website) an iPhone Photowalk would be a nice thing to do. I know it may not inclusive of everyone but I think it would be a great experience for the iPhone users.

Hi Terry,

I was fortunate to lead the Bethlehem, PA walk and it was far better than I could have ever imagined. We had an absolute blast, and like you, the weather could not have been better. I can't wait to do it again...
