Terry, thanks for the review. I downloaded the app on Saturday and it reminded me that my nephew's birthday was, well, on Saturday. Plenty of time to call him and send an Amazon gift card via email!

Hi,
I use Calendar which comes with Macs and iPhones/iTouch because I can set alarm and notification alerts which I like to remind me of upcoming events. Since this App doesn't have this, I will hold off on the purchase.

I have another neat App called ColorSplash where you take take a color photo and gray out the photo and then add color back into the Photo where you want it with your finger, leaving the rest of the photo gray. It works great and then I can email it. I wonder if I can do this with PhotoShop Elements 6.

I put birthdays on my calendar as events with an alert, so the phone makes a little ding-ding sound and the alert pops up on the screen. I set the alert for either a day before or a week before the birthday, depending on who it is, so I have time to do something about it.

Terry,
I find it hard to imagine that apple cannot handle birthdays and anniversaries the way they should be handled. It seems like such a basic need. ical can pick up birthdays from contacts, but the iphone can't pick them up... This is UNBELIEVABLE! Apple are you listening????

Terry,
How did you get the numeric badge on the Calendar? Is that part of this app too? I'd almost wish apple would make that a possibility.
Thanks!
